Seattle is just the WURST!

Megan and Erin ventured out to the Great Wallingford Wurst Festival while in Seattle. They quickly discovered that moon bounces have come a long way! They are now equipped with gauntlet style lily pads and wrecking balls. On the left side of the photo if you look close, that kid is about to get launched.

Not to be outdone, tickets were purchased and plans were schemed...Megan and Erin were going down the cliff hanger! After being passed in line by about 12 unsuspecting kids who thought they were just in the way, they finally got their turn on the huge slide! Woo hoooooooooooooo!

Alderwood

Billy the kid was armed and ready with his 6-shot espresso. He stormed out of the REI doors with a high kick and a smile. Talk about jazzing up the team early! We set up for the store opening in record-breaking time. Thank you Hurricane Billy! Don't you lose our number.

Southcenter

David nearly adopted a little lab named Morris. He begged to bring "mo-town" on tour, but we finally had to let him know that life on the road would be difficult for the classically trained seeing-eye dog. Sorry Dave.

Glacier National Park

The great thing about driving around the 2010 Subarus is the road trips and Montana was no exception! This week Erin, David and Adam took a small detour on their days off to Glacier National Park, dragging Keen rep, Kyle with them.

We all hiked down to St Mary Falls from the Jackson Glacier Overlook. Then it was off to the Logan Pass Visitor Center with a hike out the back yard, through the snow to the Hidden Lake Overlook. We saw bear tracks and evidence of scavenging, but luckily that is the closest we came to the giant Grizzlies.
Last stop, Many Glacier for a beautiful hike around the lake and through the woods, aspens blowing in the wind.
Sitting around a good meal at the Cattle Baron on Monday evening and discussing the days events everyone concluded it was beyond worth the adventure!

Glacier was more than we could have asked for. We all look forward to the return and thank our gracious tour guide and former Glacier resident, Sully and Glacier Trailhead Cabins for hosting us in their beautiful homes. We all had a great night sleep and were refreshed and ready to go for the long drive back to the Pacific NW!

Beautiful Missoula

This past weekend we were lucky enough to visit beautiful Missoula, Montana. We saw the beautiful downtown farmer's market, and accompanied REI to the second annual PEDal Fest a benefit for the Bike/Walk Alliance for Missoula (BWAM), Missoula In Motion, Mountain Bike Missoula and Freecycles.
Check it out!
